The fifth book in The Calhouns series satisfied the romantic in me and tied up a few of the generational loose ends with the Calhouns' mystery. Megan and Nathaniel are the main focus and all the other Calhouns and their mates and children play perfect supporting roles. As usual with Ms. Roberts' light romances, the characters were likable, the villains bad and frustrating, the plot straight forward and the writing impeccable. Fine reading for when I want to settle down and simply be delighted in a good read.Product details

I enjoyed the book that is the last in a series. It did follow the story line of most of Nora Roberts romances. Man and woman at odds who end up falling in love with each other. I was not able to find this book locally and therefore ordered it through . The book was not in as good of shape that I expected but that is on the seller's listing of condition of book.
Absolutely enjoyed this story. Sweet story line.
Read it. Love it. And enjoy the excitement on every page. Nora Roberts scores big again, as she always does.
Another glorious edition to the Calhoun Women with a little intrigue and lot of passion!! The Calhoun "family" are some of my favorite Nora Roberts' characters.
It began with Suzanna's surrender. There was ample opportunity to deal with the abusive Baxtor. He was unfortunately swept under the rug.
One held out hope, then, that this child abusing, woman beating excuse of a prince would be dealt with in Megan's mate. Sadly, a major component and social issue was once again glossed over. Would love to have seen this guy get fried by Aunt Colleen at some public soiree, backed by her political powerhouse friends. tsk.
This is the last book in the womderful series, but I wish there were more. Would love for her to do a follow up on the kids when they are grown. Great books in this series. My favorite is Suzzana's surrender and this one. You really don't have to read in order, howerer you really should read all of them. Also the MacKadr brother is another great series.
This is such a great book, that I look forward to going back and reading these stories again like some that I already have, and I am impatient to read the rest of Nora Roberts' stories right now. Hot, Hot, Hot, love scenes, a well written, creative and intriguing story about family plus inventive, vivid characters, all on top of seriously wonderful love and romance. Each story is about one key person, usual in a family, or close group of friends, they are linked through intricate, messy links and it's almost like a movie you get the privilege of witnessing about these people's powerful, emotional, and often times painful journey towards falling in love. Roberts is one of my most favorite author's, and she doesn't disappoint in this series. Her unique style and classy, yet moving love scenes, paint a beautiful picture that leaves a person longing for something similar for themselves. All of that is combined into this fantastic series and make this book a "must-have"!!!! I didn't want to set it down....seriously!! Lol I was nodding off over my book on several different occasions. Worth the price and more to have a Nora Roberts book in your library collection!!!!!!
